Why Our Pub is Great

The Pipe Major in Dagenham was built with family in mind. If we can keep the kids happy as well as Nan and Grandad, then we’ve done our job! Our daily carvery is at the heart of what we do, with three perfectly-prepared meats and a veggie option, all temptingly displayed alongside seasonal veg and homemade Yorkshire puds. Our extensive menu is packed with your favourite pub classics: burgers, fish ‘n’ chips and heavenly salads. And when it’s time to indulge, you’ll be delighted with our fabulous selection of desserts and cakes.

You’ll find the same great choice at the bar. Our wide range of cask ales from Marston’s is matched by a selection of fine wines from the distinguished Rothschild wineries, as well as cider, lager and soft drinks. When the sun comes out, you’ll be hunting for the beer garden, with our alfresco dining area, children’s play area and plenty of room for the family to enjoy their drinks and food. If the rain comes, our indoor toddlers’ play area can still keep the small ones happy, while you relax in our spacious lounge.
